Getting rid of a backyard shed is really two jobs: clearing out what's inside, usually years of tools, paint, and forgotten projects, and taking the structure down. How the second part goes depends on whether the shed is wood, metal, or plastic, and whether it's anchored.
Demolition vs disassembly
A rotting wood shed gets demolished and hauled. A metal or plastic shed in decent shape can sometimes be disassembled. Anchored posts and concrete pads add time.
The contents come first
Most sheds are full. We clear the contents, but not liquid paint, solvents, or fuel, which need a hazardous waste depot. Everything else comes with us.
