Do this before we come
Mark or move what's staying, that's the number one cause of confusion. Clear a walking path to the door. Empty drawers and cabinets. Empty and defrost fridges and tape the doors. Drain fuel and oil from mowers and snowblowers. Pull out anything hazardous, paint, propane, chemicals. Shred sensitive documents and wipe hard drives.
What you don't need to do
You don't need to move anything to the curb, carry anything up from the basement, disassemble furniture, or clean up afterward. That's our job, and it's included in the flat price.
